Paul D Mills
International concert pianist and vocalist, Paul D Mills, has been studying and performing since the age of three. His music education began with Mr. Warren Seekell and continued under the instruction of Mrs. Patti Antin, Mr. Charles Remillard, Mrs. Donna Krieger, and Dr. Larry Shackley. Paul's music has been acknowledged through numerous awards, including three consecutive years as the first place winner in the New England ACE Convention, Piano Competition. After graduating high school Paul toured nationally and internationally with the acclaimed Continental Singers out of Ventura, CA where he held positions as pianist, vocalist, and assistant director. Upon completion of his time with the Continentals, Paul joined Sight and Sound Theatres in Lancaster, PA as a cast member for the theatrical presentations of Daniel and The Miracle of Christmas. He returned to Sight and Sound a guest artist and assistant musical director at their request for their 2004 special Christmas Spectacular holiday performance. Paul is the founder and executive director of New Face Theatre, (www.NewFaceTheatre.com, New York, NY). In the summer of 2012, the smash hit show Non-Equity The Musical! which Paul wrote with Danielle Trzcinski had it’s SOLD OUT off-broadway debut. Education: studied piano performance and arranging at Columbia International University, (Columbia, SC); graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (New York, NY) in 2007 having studied acting, musical theatre, dance, voice, music composition, and arranging. Paul is a member of the faculty at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy teaching Sight-Singing/Music Theory and Composing for the theatre. (www.AMDA.edu) He also is one of the founding partners of BroadwayPrep and is a vocal and acting coach (www.BroadwayPrep.com).
Currently Paul is taking New York City by storm performing often with actor Victor Verhaeghe (Boardwalk Empire), and broadway's Arbender Robinson in various locations through out NYC. Most recently at the West Side Theatre and the Metropolitan Room. Working on several new musical projects with much more to come!
